Goodbye 2010. Hello 2011!!

Happy New Year!!

We had a very low key new year's eve, but with this group we don't need a lot to have a good time. We started off the night playing some drinking card game that Autum taught us which pretty much did everyone in 5 cards into the deck.. haha Not so much a good thing but no one stopped there, we had some pretty intense games of beer pong after that and needless to say Dave barely made it to midnight. I love my friends and family and I'm so excited to see what the new year brings us all!!

Christmas Time

Christmas is my favorite favorite time of year!!

One of these years I hope to make it down to Baggs for Christmas but this year my family came down a couple weeks before and we celebrated Christmas then. Growing up on Christmas morning we would wake up and open presents and my mom would always have cinnamon rolls ready when we were done. So since we couldn't all be together on Christmas this year she recreated it at my house, we woke up to the smell of cinnamon rolls. mmmm mmmmm good!! It's definitely a tradition I tend to carry on.. The week of Christmas Dave's sister Jodie came into town from California with her boys Michal and the new baby Erik. The Beagley household was very hectic that week. On Christmas morning Dave and I opened our presents for each other at our house before heading up to his parents for breakfast and presents. We barely made it through the door before Michal and Gracie were digging into anyone and everyones presents. It's so much fun having little kids around during Christmas again, they make it that much better.

Loved Summer

Alright, I have a lot of catching up to do so bare with me...

Well my summer didn't get off to a great start. I ended up losing my job the begining of June and I was devastated, thought my life was over. Then..... I ended up getting to spend some much needed time with myself, family and friends. I spent a couple weeks in Baggs, Wyoming visiting my family. I got to spend some quality time with my sister floating down the river, watch my brother kick some ass in football and bull riding, had some drinks with my dad and very much enjoyed my mama's cookin. Crazy how much you miss when you live hours away from your family.

When I was back home I was hanging out at the pool with friends and heading up the canyon every weekend with Dave and family for the hunting season, unfortunately Dave didn't have any luck getting a deer this season in Utah. Alicia and I took Gracie to the carnival and she LOVED it, she would wave at us like a little beauty queen. We celebrated lots of birthdays this summer, which means lots of cake and well... I think that's the best part of birthdays! Autum and I tried our hardest to get baby Kanyon out of Alicia's belly, he was very stubborn and didn't come until the day before she was getting induced but we are so happy to have him here now. He is the sweetest baby boy! My friend Karina also took me to my very first Hanson concert... Yes I am talking about the Hanson brothers band. Everyone got a good laugh out of us sitting in line from 8:00 am until the concert started at 7:00 pm but it was actually a pretty damn good time, thanks again Karina!! Oooh and how could I forget Dave and I went with Colby, Autum, McCoy & Kylee for McCoy's first trip to Hogle Zoo. We had a BLAST!! Can't wait for the next Zoo trip when he will know more of what is going on!!

Dave and I ended our summer season back in Baggs, Wyoming to finish up the hunts.. It was a VERY successful hunting season up there. I believe all in all they got 8 deer, 3 antelope and 3 elk, my parents even had to go get a new deep freezer to fit all the meat in. We definitely won't be having to buy any meat at the store for a while.. My summer ended a lot better than it had started and I did come to realize that my life wasn't over just because I got laid off. I haven't got to enjoy the summer and holidays like that since High School and it sure felt good!!!

What Happens In Vegas.....

We went to Vegas for 6 days at the end of May for our family vacation! Everyone said that was way to long to be in Vegas but we had a blast. We spent most of our days hanging out at the swimming pool and getting our tan on, by the time we left Dave said I looked like I was black. Dave, Zach and my dad sat at the pool and played the real or fake game as all girls walked by OH BOYS!! The guys would go out and TRY to gamble but needless to say none of them struck it rich :( One of the nights Dave and I went to see PeepShow with Holly Madison it was a good time, you definitely see lots of boobies. Some of the other things we did... We went to the M&M factory, watched the water show at the Bellagio (AMAZING) , went and spent a couple hours with all the stars at the wax museum, ate tons tons tons at all different buffets and the night before we left we went to the Tournament of Kings, it was so much fun I suggest it to everyone!! It's always sad to have it end but we had an amazing vacation! Now we just wait till the next family adventure...

Fun Filled Weekend

My family came down from Wyoming this weekend to celebrate Dave's 24th birthday and to go to Supercross!! We had a fantastic night with friends and family on Friday just hanging out and watching the Jazz game! We are so blessed to have the friends and family we have. On Saturday we went up to Salt Lake for the Supercross, it was all nice and sunny UNTIL.... the races started. It started pouring, it was raining in one direction and snowing the other it was crazy. Through all the cold, wind, rain and snow it was all in all a fabulous day!! On Sunday we just had a relaxing day with the fam with a little bit of the mall, Cabela's, BBQ, some wii, cake and ice cream. We had a great weekend. I love having my family come down and visit, I miss them so much. Hopefully Dave and I will be able to make it up to Wyoming sometime soon to visit!
