Someone's getting older..... :)

Happy Birthday Dave

On May 1st Dave turned 25 years old!! But if you ask him he says he still feels 17!! :)

The only candle I had was a #5. Hey it works!!

He got a lead sled to target practice.....

& a new quiver for his bow. And YES they were wrapped in camo of course!!

We celebrated again with the Dave & Shane with... YES a pink confetti cake!!

HoPpY EaStEr

I'm usually pretty good at getting gifts for every holiday but this Easter I was quite the procrastinator and ended up going to the store the day before Easter and I had no idea what to get Dave so when I saw the movie Country Strong I was like that's it, he really liked the movie and had said he was going to buy it when it came out. WELL ....... We woke up on Easter Sunday to find that we both bought eachother the same movie!! haha we got a pretty good laugh out of it. We went up to the Beagley's house later that day for the guys to play their first game of basketball for the season, they have been dying to play but the weather just hasn't been cooperating. We ended Easter with a very yummy ham dinner that Alicia & Justin made. Thanks guys we had such a fun day!

Love Me Some George!

So I have to tell this story because I'm pretty proud of myself!! :) I was at work one day and we had a radio station come in to advertise and it just so happened to be 101.5 The Eagle. LOVE MY COUNTY MUSIC! They were giving away George Strait tickets and I told the guy to just give them to me because I absolutely love George Strait and he's like okay I'll put your name in the drawing.. Well the next day he came back to advertise again and I was telling him how Dave & I had been calling his station ALL DAY trying to win tickets and he goes okay hold on.... He comes back and says write down all your info and I'll have tickets waiting for you at the station tomorrow!!! So I get home SOOO EXCITED and Dave goes " I'll believe it when I see it!" He had no faith in me. The next day I drove up to Salt Lake to the radio station, walked in and..... GOT OUR TICKETS!! YAYA!! George was AMAZING (of course) and Dave found a new love with Reba, she definitely knows how to put on a show! We had such a GREAT time! Thank you Justin at 101.5 The Eagle.

A SUNDAY HIKE

I'd like to say that it was a nice day for a hike but it wasn't.. It wasn't very cold but it was raining and we just kept on keeping on. And I should say that when I say hike I really mean just walking on a closed road with snow on it and let me just say it isn't that easy to walk on snow, I got a pretty good workout!! Dave kept on telling me just one more bend, just one more bend and finally after 3 more bends and not seeing any animals I decided I had had enough of hiking in the snow and rain and we turned around and went back to the nice warm, dry car! Even though it was raining it still felt so good to be out and enjoying each other's company just the two of us. I can not wait for Spring to come so we can get out of the house and into nature for more outings!

Happy Birthday To Us!!

23 years ago on February 18th my mom gave birth to the BEST birthday gift (at least in my eyes) she ever could imagine.. ME!! Yep that's right, my mom shares her birthday with me and I LOVE IT!! This year I turned 23 and my mom turned 42, which was a good surprise for her since she thought that she was going to be 43. Time flies by way too fast!! My family came down from Wyoming to celebrate. We had a crazy fun filled weekend of shopping, eating, presents, family, bowling, wii and lots more eating and shopping. I couldn't ask for a better birthday present then to be with my family. Its crazy how you realize how much family means to you when you get older and I'm so incredibly grateful for all that my family does for me. I am definitely one lucky girl!!
